I just finished “China Goes Green: Coercive Environmentalism for a Troubled Planet.” The authors have written extensively on China’s environmental politics, and have put together a captivating and insightful overview of China’s top-down, target-obsessed and ruthlessly efficient approach–for better or for worse–to its environmental challenges.
